About us

A fencing contractor built around the site visit

Maonwa Fencing is based in Norton, Mashonaland West. We supply and install the full range of boundary systems — from a suburban Clearview run to a farm camp — with our own crews and our own standards.

How we work

Measure first. Then quote.

Most fencing goes wrong before it goes up: the wrong system for the risk, posts too far apart, or a price that changes once work starts. We do it the other way round.

Every project starts with a free site visit. We walk the boundary with you, check the ground and the corners, work out where gates are needed and how a vehicle will reach the line. Only then do we recommend a system.

The quote you get is itemised — system, gauge, aperture, height, coating, post count, gate specification and total metres. If the ground is hard, if there is an existing wall to build on top of, or if a cheaper system will do the same job, you hear it before the work starts rather than after.

Installation is done by our own team. Posts are set in concrete at correct spacing, mesh and wire are tensioned properly, gates are hung and aligned, and the site is left clean. We finish by walking the run with you.

We work across Norton, Mashonaland West, Zimbabwe and the rest of the country — homes, estates, schools, clinics, warehouses, mines and farms.

Why Maonwa

Built to be trusted with a boundary

A fence only does its job if it is specified for the site and fixed so it stays straight. These are the things we refuse to cut short.

Norton-based, Zimbabwe-wide

We are local to Norton, so site visits and call-outs are quick — and we install the same systems anywhere in the country.

Engineered, not improvised

Posts are set in concrete at the right spacing, wires are tensioned properly and every weld is checked. A fence is only as good as its fixing.

Full system range

Clearview mesh, palisade, tubular bar, diamond mesh, razor, electric, pool and farm fencing, plus matching gates and automation.

Materials built for the climate

Hot-dip galvanised steel and UV-stable coatings that hold up to Zimbabwean sun and rain, so the fence still looks right years later.

One crew, start to finish

No subcontracting your job out. The team that measures is the team that installs, and they clean up when they are done.

Clear pricing, straight answers

Quotes are itemised by the metre and by the gate. If a cheaper system will do the job, we will tell you that instead.

How a project runs

Measured, quoted, installed, handed over

No vague estimates over the phone. Every job follows the same four steps, so you know what happens and what it costs before work starts.

  1. 01

    Free site visit

We come to you, walk the boundary with a tape and a level, and check the ground, corners and gate positions before anything is priced.

  2. 02

    Written specification

You get a clear quote: system, gauge, aperture, height, coating, number of posts, gate spec and the total metres, with no surprises on site.

  3. 03

    Installation

Our own crews set posts in concrete, tension and weld every panel true, then hang and align the gates before we leave the property.

  4. 04

    Handover & support

We walk the finished run with you, hand over the installation, and stay reachable for extensions, repairs and additions.

Where we work

Norton first. Then all of Zimbabwe.
